By working together, we can tackle homelessness and housing insecurity across Northern Ireland by supporting Housing Rights.
At Veolia in Northern Ireland, we are proud to announce Housing Rights as our new charity partner. This partnership brings our people, sites and local networks together behind a common goal: helping individuals and families access safe, secure and sustainable housing.
Who are Housing Rights?
Housing Rights is a Northern Ireland charity dedicated to preventing homelessness and improving access to housing through advice, advocacy and practical support. Facing housing challenges such as homelessness risk, complex housing needs, discrimination, or difficulties navigating the system, Housing Rights help those who need to understand their rights and find pathways to stability. Collaboratively working with partners and decision-makers they improve housing outcomes and influence long-term solutions for those most affected by housing insecurity.
What’s next for Veolia Northern Ireland and Housing Rights?
Fundraising initiatives
We will roll out a programme of fundraising activities designed to bring colleagues and communities together in support of Housing Rights’ work. From sponsored challenges and team events to workplace collections and local initiatives, there will be a range of ways for employees and stakeholders to get involved and help generate real impact.
We hosted a Bake & Baps morning to raise awareness for World Homeless Day.
Volunteering
Veolia in Northern Ireland employees will have opportunities to take part in volunteering activities, supporting Housing Rights and contributing time and skills that strengthen the charity’s work on the ground.
